I saw Mr. Wonderful piledrive Cowboy Bob Orton twice at my first live show back in the early 80s. Great match. The sad part was that the fans popped more for The JYD and his ridiculous gold dog chains. Oh well…that was the 80s.

I’m glad to hear Paul is doing better. I thought he was one of the guys that would pass away this year. I’m glad I was wrong.

  • Dave

He was in the Main Event of the original Wrestlemania. A long and very illustrious wrestling career. And one of the most brutal looking piledrivers in the game. Very good news that he has recovered. I’d quite like to see him back as a manager. He could take some of the modern day heels to an entirely new level.
