Hello ladies and gentlemen! How’s it goin’ out there in ReaderLand? Hopefully good! Today I planned on dropping the return of an old series of mine. Due to time constraints and the such, though, I have moved that return back a day or two. Don’t worry, though, it’ll come, and come hard! So, today, I got another return of the highly original running diary. I hope you guys enjoy that just as much. Also remember to go out and vote at the links below, and take the survey it’ll be much appreciated! Without any further ado, though, I’d like to get this column started! On with it me matey!

8:00 – Might as well start tonights running diary with the second episode of Tough Enough.

8:03 – I missed last weeks premiere for various reasons. I’d say it’s safe to say that I’m starting to dig this only three minutes in.

8:11 – John Cenas more than a 7 time WWE Champ. More like 9 time champ.

8:12 – Nice to see John belittle his fan base by saying we have a very short attention span. I’m not saying that it’s not true, but damn, it’s just nice to see him say that.

8:14 – Luke just totally fucked up the Stone Cold Stunner.

8:36 – Damn Bill DeMott has to be getting tired at this point. Maybe they should have picked somebody in better shape then him to do all of that.

8:45 – There ain’t no way in hell that Rima is going home, they’ve got way to much invested in her. Matt also sure as hell isn’t going to go home, he’s just to talented to be out at this point. That obviously means that Ryan is to be sent home. No complaining here. He shouldn’t have made his pussy side so public. Dumbass.

8:58 – Damn, safe to say that that was a huge shocker.

9:00 – Michael Cole is kind of starting to irritate me. Like a lot.

9:05 – Damn, if it isn’t John Morrison. Thought he was on the verge of going to jobber duty.

9:09 – Holy mother fucking shit. R-Truth is out here demanding a WWE Championship shot? Wouldn’t CM Punk be a better fit? He’d balance out the heel-to-face ratio, and at this point Yoshi Tatsu would be a much more credible threat out there than R-Truh.

9:12 – Uhm, pardon me, but wasn’t this same exact concept used to determine the challenger to Miz for Elimination Chamber? Except using six men, instead of five.

9:18 – Well if it isn’t Awesome Kong herself. Wow, wouldn’t it be kick ass to see her debut tonight running in and attacking Eve? This could set up Kong’s first match at Extreme Rules in some kind of hardcore squash match.

9:19 – Smart idea by an otherwise dipshitted Eve Torres. She’s hot and all, but damn do I wish she wasn’t the head of the woman’s division right now.

9:22 – Damn, what an uneventful, uninspiring victory. I get the changing of the belt as it makes sense storyline wise, but Brie should really show some damn emotion while celebrating. Just stupid.

9:27 – Eve Torres heel turn? Why do I care?

9:29 – If they end up giving Sin Cara a mouthpiece or just plain and simple steer clear of him speaking, ever, then we could honestly see a much better version-esque of Rey Mysterio.

9:31 – Primo’s getting a lot more offense in then anybody should expect. If he stays on the roster after the upcoming roster cuts that are upcoming, then I honestly believe he should be re-packaged with a mask, and teamed up with his little brother Tito Colon as a masked Mexican tag team. Don’t tell me that wouldn’t be kick ass!

9:34 – Holy shit! That was an amazing end. What’s even more amazing is how strong Primo looked strong. If given 15 minutes I’d wager a bet saying that they could put on a four-to-five star clinic.  No doubt.

9:36 – I’d like to take this commercial break to announce that I am going to run a writing contest. It’s something that I’ve been wanting to run for quite some time. I’ve even got one started, only to have it ripped from under my feet. So, here’s where you come into play. If you have ever wanted to become an article writer, or are just good at writing, and enjoy competition then shoot me up an e-mail and let me know if your interested. The contest would likely be up to two months long, and likely wouldn’t start for a few weeks. Once it does, though, it’ll be showcased in my columns. The winner will get a prize that I’ll work up with some of the sites I write for. Also, any writers that impress me enough will be offered a spot in an upcoming project I have planned. So, as I said, just shoot me up with an e-mail and I’ll give you any further details.

9:40 – Seeing that highlight makes me wish I didn’t miss all of last Monday’s festivities. I just wish The Corre would be built up appropriately and pushed to the moon this summer. I have an incredibly big hard-on for them.

9:42 – Please don’t split these guys up. Please don’t.

9:43 – Cole is right, this is fucking ridiculous. If The Corre doesn’t demolish them, then I’m going to be pissed.

9:46 – I don’t know if anybody else has noticed how a few of the recent songs that the WWE has picked for stuff has went, well, mainstream after they first used them. The theme song for WrestleMania was used frequently for March Madness. Taker’s entrance music is now being used for the return of the television series Deadliest Catch. What next? Is Daniel Bryan’s music going to be used for the NFL Draft?

9:51 – Thank god they got the victory there.

9:58 – Michael Cole sounds like an old school manager. Managers, remember them? They use to be used as ways to get over talent that couldn’t necessarily perform on the microphone.

10:00 – LOL. Did Jerry Lawler just try to Hulk Up?

10:01 – This crowd has seemed dead all night. Is it just me or did they just kind of explode for the Lawler victory there?

10:04 – Swagger face turn? Hell yeahz!

10:05 – Jerry “The King” Lawler & Jim “J.R.” Ross VS Michael Cole & Jack Swagger. I dislike that, a lot.

10:09 – A lot of you people called me a jackass for stating that Edge was in the last leg of his career during my last column. Who feels like the jackass now? I’m just surprised that it may be coming to an end this soon. I’ll go on a leg and predict that he’s going to announce a farewell tour for the next few months, probably up to SummerSlam, and maybe even as far as WrestleMania 28.

10:16 – Those are true tears right there. You can tell that he’s off his game tonight. He’s uncomfortable as hell, and doesn’t want to do this. Wow, though.

10:24 – I raise my glass to you Edge. Such an abrupt and out of no where way to retire. He’s doing the right thing, though. As hard as it looked like it was for him to do that, I can’t believe how hard it’ll be in a couple of weeks when it really settles in on him. Everything’s easier to handle with a few day notice. It’s when that few day notice turns into a few month notice that it really kills you. Nevertheless, Edge, you WILL be missed. I’m just to far in shock to really know what to say. Maybe in a few days I’ll be able to spit something out, but not now. Wow.

10:30 – Here’s my bets on who will win this number one contender match:

John Cena – 32/1

John Morrision – 5/1

Randy Orton – 3/2

Dolph Ziggler – 7/6

R-Truth – 100/99

10:34 – I’m glad that Punk-Orton is going to continue. I’m even more glad that New Nexus has returned and is looking to be stronger then ever. It’ll be interesting to see where Skip Sheffield goes when he returns from injury. New Nexus could have another beast within them with Skip.

10:37 – I just read a report that Edge’s farewell was 100% true and that he was given a mic and told to say goodbye however he wanted to. I just want to say, good. That is the right way to handle it. Sad, yet magical. Goodbye Edge.

10:40 – On a lesser note, who else would laugh the fuck out loud if R-Truth won this? All here say I!

10:43 – R-Truth was on the verge of being released after the Green Bay debacle, and now he’s winning in contention for the WWE Championship? Sometimes (or all the time), I just don’t get WWE booking.

10:48 – LOL. Miz just called John Cena “SuperCena”. That’s freaking amazing!

10:51 – They really want to bury Morrison tonight.

10:55 – We all know how this is going to end, but question is, what is going to happen in the excess time?

10:59 – I’m just so surprised as to how strong R-Truth is being booked right now.

11:03 – No surprise here. Can you say Triple Threat?

11:05 – How in the hell does a guy that hasn’t been on television for like two months (as far as I know) go from being buried all the time, to being the number one contender?

11:06 – I love aggressive Cena, he makes me wet.

Line of the Night – “Destiny can change in the blink of an eye” – Edge

Match of the Night – Sin Cara VS Primo

Segment of the Night – Edge’s Retirement Announcement

Sparty’s Final Thoughts

Well, tonight was a lot more emotional than what I expected heading in. Edge’s retirement leaves a gaping hole on the Smackdown side of things, but that just makes the upcoming Draft all the more important. Who wouldn’t be surprised to see Christian replace him at Extreme Rules and win the strap in a sort of fashion that catapulted Rey Mysterio to the main event. Not saying it’ll happen, but it might as hell happen. I’d say this was a very good episode. We got some good build towards Extreme Rules, but other than the WWE Championship match and Edge retiring, nothing else really happened. Tonight’s episode had a lot of forward lean as it has me anxiously awaiting next week. I’ll go ahead and give it a C+. Good, but not that good all around to warrant any better of a grade.

So, there we have it the sixty third edition of Tales of Tyler. Remember to send any and all feedback my way, and also make sure you go out and cast your vote for the upcoming Reader’s Choice; it is your choice after all dammit! While voting for that, might as well fill out the recent Survey Says…2. That’s you the peoples column, also. On another note, also send in, or comment if you are interested in partaking in a writing contest. As far as tonight’s column goes, how’d you rate tonight’s Raw? Did you like? Did you dislike? Let me know how you’re all feeling out there, just comment, or send in feedback to the e-mail below. Keep your peeps peepin’ for the return of a certain well received column to make it’s way through the rounds in the next two or so days. BUT…

Until next time, it’s your favorite spartan, Spartacus, signing out!
