Triple H reportedly upset at Rollins and Ambrose after gesture on Raw

Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns were The Shield and ran roughshod over the WWE roster for the longest time. They held belts between the three of them and were hard to defeat. Many attempted to take The Shield down, but so many of them failed. Finally, it took Seth Rollins turning on his brothers and leaving them to become the face of The Authority to break up the faction.

A lot of people have been seeing a Shield reunion of some kind on the way because it’s just a matter of time before these three intermingle since they’re on the same brand now. Since Roman is preoccupied in the main event at SummerSlam in a fatal four-way match for the Universal Championship it appears as though Seth and Dean might be the only two reuniting at this point. But 2/3 of The Shield is better than nothing.

Sportskeeda is reporting Triple H and other WWE officials are upset at Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose for giving away a big moment WWE had planned later on down the road. Apparently, the big blowoff to the Rollins/Ambrose forgiveness story line is going to be the first “Shield fist bump.” Seth offered a fist bump after their victory on Raw, but Ambrose walked away. However, in the closing moments of their match against Miz and the Miztourage Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose embraced in a full-fledged hug.

Rollins and Ambrose are supposed to have a lengthy run with each other which could result in a Raw Tag Team Title match at SummerSlam. Many people backstage are viewing this hug to be a much bigger gesture than just a fist bump and some are thinking they crossed the line. Triple H and others are said to be upset at this move as it was unplanned and might have spoiled a big moment scheduled down the line.
