Triple H and Vince McMahon Bump Heads on Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte Not Headlining HIAC

According to a report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is a lot of frustration backstage between Triple H and Vince McMahon over Vince not wanting the Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte Hell In A Cell match headlining the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view (PPV) event. Vince has been very against the idea while Triple H has been backing it hard:

“What everyone needs to understand is that there’s no one who understands the outside less than the man who makes all the decisions,” a source close to the situation told the Observer. “We just have to find a respectful way to change his mind.”

While it is possible Vince could have a change of heart leading up to Sunday, as of Tuesday he has been very much against the idea. One of the key arguments in the women main eventing the show is due to the PPV being held in Banks’ hometown. As of this writing the main event of the show looks to be the Universal Title match between Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins, or Roman Reigns vs. Rusev for the United States Title.
