- WWE Legend Jake “The Snake” Roberts turns 56 years old today.

– The following matches and talents are being advertised for WWE’s return to Perth, Australia on July 3rd at the Burswood Dome:

* John Cena vs. R-Truth
* Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk

Other talents advertised are Big Show, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio, Kofi Kingston, Kelly Kelly, Jack Swagger and Nexus.

– The Miz will be tonight’s guest on WWE Tough Enough. We are down to the final three competitors – Luke, Andy and Jeremiah.

– While Triple H is being advertised for tonight’s RAW from Nebraska, it should be noted that the advertisements were done months ago.

    Yea, this whole advertised to appear thing is not news. We know HHH won’t be there. I bet HBKwas advertised to wrestle Cena too. lol. Stop trying to get fans hopes up because HHH showing up won’t happen.

    @Nottingham. You got it spot on there. On top of that, many of these advertised appearances at shows arent done by WWE, but the arena or local advertising.
    This is why we have seen adverts still including talent that left ages ago like Batista and Jericho, weeks or months after they left.

    If you look at any tickets or event information it will always say something like “card subject to change” or something along those lines, meaning that if you turn up and not one single one of those people is on the actual card, you cant complain about it because they never actually promised those guys would be there.

    Stop with the “advertised to appear” stuff… It means absolutely nothing and ALWAYS has. I’m sure guys were advertised appear pre-draft when they don’t know who’s going where on that up until the day of the show half the time.
