– Following this past Tuesday’s SmackDown taping in Las Vegas, The Great Khali will be taking an extended break from the wrestling world to head back to India. Khali told several friends backstage his decision to take a break. There is no timetable for his return to WWE.
– In addition to Khali taking a break, there is a strong possibility that Batista will be taking a long break as well. Batista told several wrestlers backstage that he intended on taking the break following WrestleMania this past Sunday. Those within the company expect Batista to take his leave of absence following the Extreme Rules PPV later this month.
Batista is also scheduled to begin filming for the upcoming WWE Studio’s film “Killing Karma” this spring. The general consensus within the locker room is that Batista will not wrestler while he is filming.
