Two more stars set to return for SmackDown 1000

With SmackDown 1000 only a day away, two more Superstars have been revealed for the event.

According to PWInsider, the World’s Strongest Man Mark Henry will appear on SmackDown tomorrow night. Henry hasn’t participated in a WWE show since Greatest Royal Rumble where he scored 3 eliminations before being tossed out by Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler.

Another former SmackDown star set to make his return is James Ellsworth, who competed at Impact’s Bound for Glory event last night, losing in quick fashion to Eli Drake.

Below are the confirmed names set to return for SmackDown 1000:

  • Booker T
  • Edge
  • Kane
  • The Undertaker
  • Triple H
  • Randy Orton
  • Batista
  • Ric Flair
  • Rey Mysterio
  • Big Show
  • Mark Henry
  • James Ellsworth
  • Michelle McCool
  • Torrie Wilson
  • Vickie Guerrero
  • Teddy Long

The following matches have been advertised:

  • The Miz & Samoa Joe vs Daniel Bryan & WWE Champion AJ Styles
  • Asuka, Naomi & Charlotte Flair vs The IIconics & SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch
  • WWE World Cup Qualifier: United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura vs Rey Mysterio

  • CC

Evolution were exclusive to RAW but I guess they think it is a big draw or something to put them back together, even though it makes zero sense (why would HHH be with them considering his DX thing at the moment?)

I can only guess that they will be keeping quiet on some names, and are not going to announce everyone.

  • Mike the Ike

It is very weak. And where’s JBL? RVD? And no, Evolution was never on SD, but Batista was a SD guy, Orton is on SD, and Triple H was on SD for like 5 minutes after the brand split.

  • Grant Thomson

This is very weak without the Rock. Also, I always associate Evolution with Raw. Were they ever a fixture on Smackdown?
