In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer discussed the upcoming Royal Rumble PPV and revealed two matches which could possibly take place at the event.
The first match is between the Monster Among Men Braun Strowman and the Big Red Monster Kane. These two have been feuding recently and Royal Rumble appears to be the perfect stage to culminate their rivalry
The second bout which could take place is between the current Intercontinental champion Roman Reigns and the Samoan Submission Machine Samoa Joe.
While these two had not crossed paths in recent times, Joe attacked Roman during the final segment of this week’s episode of Raw and after the show; it looks likely that these two will face each other somewhere down the line.
Apart from this Meltzer also revealed his thoughts on the beast Brock Lesnar and as we noted before, he speculated that Brock may not defend his Universal Championship at the event at all.
