Two Possible TNA Releases Coming, News for Tonight’s Genesis Impact Wrestling, Attendance

– Tonight’s Genesis themed episode of TNA Impact Wrestling will feature Sting vs. Ethan Carter III, Bully Ray vs. Mr. Anderson, Madison Rayne vs. Gail Kim for the Knockouts Title and Kurt Angle vs. Bobby Roode in a steel cage match.

– Eric Young will be the special guest on TNA’s InterActive Second Screen Experience tonight.

– The TNA live event on January 10th in Bristol, TN drew 800 fans with a rare appearance by Sting. The January 11th live event in McMinnville, TN drew 1,200 fans, largely due to local grassroots promotion. Sting appeared at that show as well.

– Mike Knox and Garett Bischoff may be the next talents released from TNA following the departures of Wes Brisco and Jay Bradley.

    Totally Agree . . . Dixie Carter doesn’t know SQUAT about pro-wrestling. TNA NEEDS variety – not the same tired matches week in and week out – just like WWE. Where I had once been a big TNA fan … sadly, Dixie Carter is taking TNA the way of the final days of WCW.

    Knox didn’t even do anything but walk around the ring until the “Aces End” angle, in which he wrestled twice, then did nothing until now. He is gone. He is yet another TNA “We had a good talent and didn’t use him” victim. Sure he isn’t main event, but he had some good match potential in him, especially if they had him become a “Hardcore Bruiser”.
