Two Possible TV Networks That Could Pick Up Impact Wrestling In 2016

As of this writing, TNA is in talks with POP TV and WGN America about Impact Wrestling airing on their networks in 2016. There are other networks in discussions with TNA, but those are the two leading candidates, according to Pwinsider.com. If TNA inks a deal with either of those networks listed above, then Impact Wrestling would be in more homes than the show is in currently with Destination America. The belief is if they can sign with either of those networks than their viewership will increase.

WGN and TNA were in talks late last year, and the TV network wanted to sign TNA to a TV deal. However, they did not want to put TNA on the air until the Spring of 2015. TNA decided to go with Destination America because they would be put on television right away.

It should be noted that The POP TV headquarters and United Talent Agency offices are both located in Los Angeles. The UTA is the agency representing TNA in the negotiations.

The belief within TNA right now is that if the promotion signed with POP TV then they would have to pay for their TV time slot.
