Emanating from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV, the one-hour telecast will feature Tim Boetsch (12-4) vs. Kendall Grove (14-8, 1 NC) in middleweight action, and Demetrious Johnson (13-1) vs. Miguel Angel Torres (38-3) in a bantamweight contest.

Hailing from Sunbury, PA but fighting out of Kirkland, WA with the AMC Pankration team, Tim Boetsch has amassed 12 wins in light heavyweight competition, but will be making his debut in the middleweight division when he meets Kendall Grove at UFC 130. Known for his strong ground and pound attack, Boetsch is feeling stronger, faster and better than ever, and he plans on sending a warning shot to the middleweights of the UFC.

Kendall Grove burst onto the UFC scene with his standout performance on the third season of The Ultimate Fighter®, defeating Ed Herman in the series finale to win the competition. Since then, the Hawaiian native has not backed down from any challenges, taking on the likes of Patrick Cote, Jorge Rivera and the late Evan Tanner during his UFC career. Next on his hit list is “The Barbarian,” Tim Boetsch.

A stablemate of Boetsch at AMC Pankration in his native state of Washington, Demetrious Johnson has amassed an impressive 13-1 slate in his MMA career. The former high school track and wrestling standout has utilized his speed and strength to great effect, finishing seven of his fights before they went to the judges’ scorecards. Winner of three straight bouts under the Zuffa umbrella, most recently defeating Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto at UFC 126, the fighter nicknamed “Mighty Mouse” faces his toughest test to date when he squares off with Miguel Angel Torres at UFC 130.

One of the most prolific bantamweights in the history of mixed martial arts, Miguel Angel Torres has over 40 bouts on his resume, with only three losses among them. A former WEC bantamweight champion, Torres is a Carlson Gracie black belt who boasts fierce striking and unmatched conditioning. Training out of the renowned Tristar Gym in Montreal, Torres is looking to win his third straight bout and take the next step toward claiming the bantamweight championship in the UFC.

Other bouts on the card might air on Spike TV, to be determined by the length of the fights.
