- WWE announced the following:

“WWE is shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of the most iconic WWE Superstars ever, The Ultimate Warrior. Warrior began his WWE career in 1987 and quickly went on to become one of the biggest stars in WWE history. Warrior became WWE Champion at WrestleMania VI, defeating Hulk Hogan in an epic encounter. We are grateful that just days ago, Warrior had the opportunity to take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame and was also able to appear at WrestleMania 30 and Monday Night Raw to address his legions of fans. WWE sends its sincere condolences to Warrior’s family, friends and fans. Warrior was 54 and is survived by his wife Dana and his two daughters.”

A majority of em have died from other non related steroid use problems. Similar symptoms but not caused by steroid usage. The guy was a motivational speaker who admitted to doing steroids in the past but not to the point to where he is or was having problems. He said he saw so many go through problems he didn’t want that for himself he found a better way a warriors way. U can take a lil bit of sumn ant have any consequences or u can have a lot. No one knws for sure

  • Rob ‘Richard Hammond’ Picken

look it up, Warrior HAS admitted steroid use as has Hogan. All these wrestlers Warrior included have died from a heart attack, which was caused BY steroid use over the years. Steroids go hand in hand with wrestling as does drugs, and all I’m saying is thats probably whats caused his heart attack… stop getting all pissy and put your handbag away, i wasn’t attacking Warrior as a person

  • The Killswitch

You’re looking at the number of total wrestlers, not just the ones who have actually TAKEN steroids. Of the ones who have abused substances (steroids or otherwise), many of them have lived shorter lives. We’re not denying the seriousness of the situation, but we’re also not ignoring the truth of substance abuse. Nothing to get all defensive over.

  • J-SMOOTH

I just gave you facts the fact that u added 7 people to that list doesn’t change the fact of it being any less UN common 7 more people dnt make it a common issue. And what facts do u have but warriors own admittance to using steroids in the past. Did u see the guy shooting up before he wakes up every morning u did an autopsy on warrior and knw for a fact that he overdosed.? I mean what facts. Oh maybe you mean the fact that steroids are dangerous oh hmm maybe so has nun to do with why they died or how they died I mean seriously bam bam bigelow died from being overweight. Anyone could tell that. And u use him In reference for steroid overdose what steroid was he taking mcdonaldlin

  • what?

After having all day to let this all sink in I’m still just plan numb I feel like part of my childhood has died just heartbreaking

  • Rob ‘Richard Hammond’ Picken

thats just it, it wasn’t JUST those 3, i was using them as an example given how they were top stars who had drug issues and their cause of death was a heart attack. You want others?

    Bam Bam Bigelow
    Rocco Rock of Public Enemy
    Davy Boy Smith
    Rick Rude
    Hercules
    Crush
    Pitbull 2
    Gary Albright

Yes its a tragedy but you can’t ignore the facts

  • Shawn OB

I can’t believe it. RIP Warrior. Still can’t believe this.

  • J-SMOOTH

Sad to seem him go a little soon. And people want to blame it on steroids they dnt even knw just speculating. Hbk did drugs for years on end and he even tells u some of the stuff man I shouldn’t be alive so dnt say aww it was steroids u dnt knw. Hmmm it was pretty much steroids how do u knw that please tell me how u knw Like u were the mans jock strap when he was shooting yp huh? U were looking over the stahl in the bathroom huh shut up with all the steroid talk and just be thankful unfit to see the man perform and pray for his family to make it through this hard time

  • J-SMOOTH

So 3.out of probably 400,000.wrestlers over the course of 50 years and u say it’s not exactly uncommon. Who taught u math

  • Johhny

wow ,On Raw i knew he looked kind of weak his shaking ect while talking i thought it was warrior just being warrior.Sadly yet another from my childhood gone.I am glad to have grown up when i did and became a wrestling fan because i seen alot of acts.Sad part is they are pretty much all dead and now warrior is to,RIP

  • Rob ‘Richard Hammond’ Picken

nothing to do with being disrespectful, if its a heart attack it was probably down to steroid abuse. it happened to eddie it happened to Road Warrior Hawk its not exactly uncommon thats all

  • AmishPatel

Totally agree. He looked like he was really struggling. Was very sad to see….

  • What?

It was like he knew his life was coming to the end my heart goes out to his wife and children

  • What?

    Show some respect

  • What?

I grew up watching the warrior with Sting as the blade runners they had some great matches and his solo career him and chris Adams tore it up I could go on and on about his many great matches he had with other legends .he was one of my favorites of all time I’m so glad he made it to the hall of fame and made up with people he hadn’t spoken to in many years . Thanks for all the great memories rest well

  • d_pooch

Man that sucks. Was looking forward to seeing more of him around. RIP.

  • Rob ‘Richard Hammond’ Picken

this is why steroids are bad kids

  • The Killswitch

That’s extremely shocking how close this was to his first in-ring appearance in years, let alone his induction, RIP Warrior.

  • Truth B Told

Yep, I was actually thinking the same thing, watching him hobble to the ring, looking “out of it” and what not. Couldn’t even shake the ropes like he used to or get that loud voice going so I knew something was up right then.

  • Dustin

Apparently, he collapsed en route to his car at his hotel. It was probably a heart attack. He did look a bit winded last night on RAW. Nevertheless, incredibly sad. RIP. oWn 4-life.

  • D2K

Sounds like he knew he was about to go. In hindsight I wonder if he asked to go out there on RAW because he knew his time was short. He buried every hatchet that he could this weekend and gave his farewell to the fans. If we only knew…….if we only knew…..:'(

  • Kristopher Robinson

    RIP!!!

  • Jason Lentini

RIP Jim Warrior Hellwig. It must have been something nobody knew about since there are no details as of yet.

I’m glad he patched things up with Vince and was able to be inducted into the HOF before this happened.

  • Eddie Money

“Every man’s heart one day beats it’s final beat, and his lungs breathe their final breathe…And if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others and bleed deeper than something larger than life, then his essence, his spirit, will be immortalized.”- Warrior last night on Raw.

    R.I.P. Warrior

  • Shawn Bronald

    I’m absolutely speechless. Wow.

  • D2K

………………….I’m just……………..I’m just in total shock. I absolutely cannot believe this. He was just on RAW last night. He looked so happy and looked like he was having so much fun. This is really, really, really sad……..

  • Solid

Sudden heart or brain thing? he looked fine the other day :(

    RIP
