We noted before how WWE announced that Chris Jericho will be appearing on Raw next week, however it appears that his return is not fully confirmed yet.
Chris himself had stated in an interview last year that his WWE contract expired after WrestleMania and he was not bound with the company in any way.
Now after the announcement from the company, Wrestling Observer has noted that WWE added Jericho to the show without having a prior deal with him in place.
While this doesn’t necessarily mean that he won’t be appearing at the show, Observer speculates that whether or not he actually shows up will come down to what the creatives have in store for him.
It’s worth noting here that another WWE legend who was originally announced for the Raw 25th-anniversary episode was recently pulled from the show. You can check out the full news here.
