– WAFB 9 in New Orleans reports that city officials may be looking at bringing WrestleMania back to New Orleans in 2019. New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corporation President Mark Romig said the city wants WWE back. He commented:
“We think we’ve put out a great red carpet. We’ve shown them how to really put on a great event, everything within walking distance and we hope to be part of this rotation going forward.”
– As noted, Dean Ambrose appeared to have suffered a rib injury on last night’s Main Event episode. He worked the SmackDown tapings so it appears the injury was a work or not serious enough to keep him out of action.
