Update On Lesnar’s Inclusion In WWE Video Game, Commercial To Be Released reports that UFC fighter Brock Lesnar will be a “featured star” in THQ’s WWE ’12 video game after an agreement was reached.

THQ approached Lesnar in January and asked for permission to use his name and likeness in the game and advertising campaign. The former WWE Superstar was ecstatic over the idea, but wouldn’t agree to terms unless he received permission from UFC president Dana White. The outspoken mixed martial arts promoter gave Lesnar his blessing.

White told TMZ, “I love WWE and I have nothing but love for Vince McMahon — I’m totally okay with Brock being in the game.”

The first commercial for the game featuring Lesnar will be released tomorrow.

    This is awesome. goldberg and Brock were the reasons why I went back to play Here Comes the Pain.

    @KitKrock: I still play PS2 lol

  • Boondock Saint

    Well, Here Comers The Pain

  • CC

    It makes nothing but sense for White to allow Brock to be in the game as it just gives UFC even more exposure (and probably some kind of financial reward that wont be mentioned).
    Can fully understand why he wouldnt want him to appear at WM, but something non physical is fine.

  • i,m a paul heyman guy

  • KitKrock

    Goldberg, Brock and Big Show was so overpowered in Here comes the pain. You had to play almost perfect to beat someone like Brock or Goldberg with someone like The Rock, Jericho, Austin, Angle etc…

  • D2K

    Well, now we know what those meetings were about.
