Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

- It’s confirmed that WWE released referee Marty Elias this past week. In a related note, a few weeks back when The Hurricane saved a woman falling off the box backstage on ECW, that was Marty’s daughter.

- To make up for the whole Denver debacle, WWE’s return to the city on August 7th is now a tri-branded Supershow with Randy Orton vs. Triple H in a cage match, Jeff Hardy vs. CM Punk in a ladder match, Christian vs. Tommy Dreamer in an Extreme Rules match and Kofi Kingston vs. MVP vs. Carlito vs. The Miz.

- Even though R-Truth’s Pretty Ricky segment hasn’t appeared lately, the idea is not done. Two weeks ago they had one of the skits in the SmackDown script but it ended up not airing. Killings’ problem is that he has really no one on the creative team backing him these days and even though he has charisma, his age (37) is working against him. Still, Vince McMahon is high on the character.

    ya he was K Quick.

I think R-Truth needs to stick with his current character and leave this Pretty Ricky gimmick aside.
It’s stupid, and not funny at all.
I mean, Killings has been doing a great job on the show and he is a really great talent in the WWE.
He has the potential to be something great and this Pretty Ricky crap is just gonna ruin his current standing in the company, and with fans.
