As reported earlier, Fenix suffered an injury during the main event of night’s AAA match. Fenix hit a springboard cutter and landed awkwardly. He remained motionless in the ring until Pentagon checked on him. He was stretchered to the back after the match ended.
He was rushed to the hospital as AAA owner Danny Daniels provided an update on his condition.
At the hospital with
@ReyFenixMx. He’s ok but just needs to take it easy for a bit.
In regards to @ReyFenixMx – he has been taken to a local hospital as a precaution due to an injury he suffered during his match this evening at #LUCHACITY. We will keep everyone appraised of any developments.

The most worrying thing is that Fenix needs some rest. @Luchablog listed out all the upcoming Lucha Bros. appearances and it doesn’t look like there is time to rest.

We hope he recovers soon enough since, besides the above-mentioned matches, he also has a major match at Double or Nothing, where he will be teaming with his brother Pentagon Jr to take on The Young Bucks, in May.
