Update on how long Triple H may be out

As was reported yesterday, Triple H suffered a torn pectoral muscle during his match at WWE Crown Jewel. The Game reunited with Shawn Michaels to defeat The Brothers of Destruction at the event.

PWInsider has reported that Triple H is heading to Alabama now to get the official diagnosis, and will undergo immediate surgery should it be required.

At the moment, it is possible that we could still see the Cerebral Assassin return in time for WrestleMania 35. The timetable for recovery for this kind of injury ranges between 5-9 months.

So, while it’s a bit of a slim chance, there’s a possibility that the King of Kings will be back in time for Mania. After all, we’ve seen some incredibly quick recoveries from WWE superstars in the past. John Cena, for example, shocked the world when he returned to action at Royal Rumble 2008, only three months after he tore his pectoral muscle.

For now, though, we can assume that the rivalry between D-X and the Brothers of Destruction is finished.
