Update On Kurt Angle’s Brother Being With The Murder Of His Wife

David Angle waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Friday morning, according to KDKA out of Pittsburgh. He will now stand trial at a date that has yet to be determined.

As noted, Kurt Angle’s older brother, David Angle, 62, is being charged with homicide after his wife was found dead in his home last month in Pittsburgh.

According to the police report, Dormont police and paramedics responded to a domestic disturbance at 6:24 am and found Donna Angle, 57, unresponsive on the living room floor. She was pronounced dead at the hospital at 7:13 am.

According to Angle, he and his wife were in the living room at 3 am when she offered him some vodka, and she allegedly continued to badger him about drinking with her and that escalated into an argument. He then claimed that all of their arguments revolved around alcohol and that he has anger issues.

Angle said that his wife tried to kick him and “grabbed both of her arms, pulled her off the couch, put his foot on her chest and then pulled.”

He claimed that he didn’t know how long this went on, but it “was not for minutes.” He told police that she became unconscious and he tried, unsuccessfully, to revive her before calling police.
