– Apparently TNA began talking with Mickie James in late April, shortly after her release from WWE on the 22nd. As noted before, TNA is planning on offering Mickie a deal in late July after her 90-day no-compete clause with WWE expires. Mickie’s concert earlier this month was not the first time that her and Dixie Carter have recently met. The former Diva and TNA’s President met in-person shortly after Mickie’s WWE departure to begin informal talks on her joining the company.

– In a recent interview with the ClubWWI radio show, former manager to Rob Van Dam and Sabu, Bill Alphonso said the following about a possible run with TNA:

“I’m talking to Van Dam on a weekly basis. He’s trying to get my foot into TNA. We’ll see how that goes. There’s a 20% chance. It’s big money. You know what I mean? So it’s hard to get in there. I’m a real good friend of Hulk Hogan’s and he’s the man. We were both born on August 11th, so hopefully that works out and it’s right there in Orlando. So you might see me back on the tube. That’s a possibility.”
