– As noted before, the dark match before tonight’s SummerSlam saw Beth Phoenix win a 15 Divas Battle Royal with Divas from all three brands. The match will appear on the SummerSlam 2009 DVD.
– Former WWE Champion Rob Van Dam, along with his wife, and former WWE Women’s Champion Amy “Lita” Dumas were backstage visiting tonight at SummerSlam.
– Several readers sent in that DirecTV subscribers are having issues with the SummerSlam pay-per-view feed. The feeds have gone in and out numerous times. The issue appears to be nationwide.
In addition, Comcast users have also sent in complaints that the HD feed of the show never began airing. One customer spent over an hour on the phone with Comcast support. Comcast’s support team are taking calls, informing subscribers that those who purchased the HD feed will be given a refund and that the feed issues are throughout the country as well. Comcast has been flooded with calls over the issue.
