Update on time frame for Kevin Owens injury

Earlier this week, we reported that the angle WWE did with Kevin Owens and Bobby Lashley this past Monday night was done to write Owens off of TV so he could get minor knee surgery.

According to Dave Meltzer and the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the knee surgery will keep KO out of action for four to eight months.

With the initial news that the surgery would be minor, most assumed KO wouldn’t miss that much time. However, Meltzer noted that the full damage won’t be known until his knee is opened up.

While it’s hopeful that Owens will just need a minor procedure, it is possible that he will need major knee surgery.
