Update on WWE Merchandise at the Polls, The Snake Still Wrestling, More

– In December, WWE Superstars on etv in South Africa will move from Tuesdays at 8pm to 11pm and SmackDown will move from Wednesday at 8:30pm to 11pm. Programming will return to its normal times by January.

– After announcing his retirement back in August, Jake “The Snake” Roberts wrestled former WCW and WWE star The Barbarian at an indy show in North Carolina, losing the match. Reid Flair also wrestled on the show, defeating Buddy Landel.

– As noted before, Connecticut Secretary of State Susan Bysiewicz ruled that people who run the voting polls will have the right to tell voters wearing WWE merchandise to change their clothes. She has made this ruling because WWE is so heavily associated with Linda McMahon and federal law does not allow political material in polling places. Enforcement of the ruling will be left up to individual voting locations.
