Update on PPV’s & the WWE Network, Diva Seeking New Projects, WWE Attendance, More

– WWE referee Marc Harris is out of action with a broken nose.

– WWE Diva Kelly Kelly has been trying to get herself out there for new projects such as modeling and acting in late 2012.

– The RAW live event on November 30th in Yokohama, Japan drew 5,000 fans for $600,000. The December 1st show, also in Yokohama, drew 6,000 fans for $700,000. The RAW live event on December 3rd in Fort Lauderdale drew 3,000 fans for $90,000.

– The SmackDown live event on December in Chattanooga, TN drew 4,500 fans for $120,000. The December 3rd live event in Augusta, GA drew 4,000 fans for $115,000 while the next night in Columbus, GA drew 3,800 fans for $106,000.

– While nothing is confirmed yet, the latest talk on pay-per-views airing on the new WWE Network is that WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, Survivor Series and maybe one other event will be kept on pay-per-view while the remaining events will be shown on the network.

Because the WWE Network won’t be available at first in a majority of homes, it’s possible that WWE will still offer the events to purchase on regular pay-per-view.
