Update On Sarita Following Facial Paralysis, Xplosion Championship Challenge

— TNA Knockout Tag Team Champion Sarita announced Friday evening on her Facebook account that she had suffered facial paralysis and missed her scheduled matches in Mexico as a result. Despite her loss of muscle function, she worked a match at tonight’s Impact Wrestling taping in Orlando, Florida, her first since last week. She donned a lucha libre style mask while competing.

Rosita stated on Twitter that her on-screen cousin is in good spirits while she recovers.

— Magnus faced Shannon Moore in the Quarterfinals of the Xplosion Championship Challenge at tonight’s Xplosion taping in Orlando, Florida. The match will air overseas in two weeks. Alex Shelley faced “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero in the tournament last night. The match will air overseas next week.

    @Will. if she is already back in the ring, its probably only a minor case. a friend of mine had it, and there were no lasting effects.
    Ross has had extreme attacks with it, and has had it a few times now.

    That said, even with a minor case of bells palsy, doctors would suggest you do not work until its cleared up as stress can be a bad effect on it.

    sounds like Sarita had a Bell’s Palsy attack. that’s the same thing that affected Jim Ross in the past. hope she’s doesn’t have permanent Paralysis of the face.
