– Daniel Bryan recently spoke with Brian Fritz of Bryan noted that he doesn’t know if he will be in action at Sunday’s SummerSlam pay-per-view yet and talked about cashing in his briefcase at WrestleMania 28. Bryan also discusses CM Punk, his new theme music and more. You can listen below:

– People at a recent New Japan Pro Wrestling show were openly talking about former WWE star David Hart Smith returning to work there. Vladimir Kozlov, likely because of his size and experience in combat sports, was also mentioned.

– WWE is looking at bringing back several names from the past over the next year as a way to bring back some of their fans who stopped watching the product. No returns have been confirmed but the usual speculation is names like Mick Foley, Chris Jericho and Batista. Word is that some familiar mid-card names from the past may be brought back also.

Billy Gunn ripoff? Why because he uses the legdrop every now and then, or because WWE got him to cut his hair off? Don’t even try to say his attire because he wears those short things. That would mean Orton & Cena were Gunn ripoffs at one point along with many others. He has more wrestling ability than Gunn had, different gimmicks. If you want to compare or call him a ripoff of someone, Mr Perfect would be the closest.

Luger was never on WWE TV during the Invasion. And Buff got fired after he got into an argument with Helms. Plus, he took the heat from his match with Booker that time on Raw.

  • Ronni

What ever happend the Lex Luger and Bagwell During the Invasion storyline in 2001? they were there on smackdown once then all of the sudden didnt see them again

I bet they will bring back nash in some way or form. DDP i doubt it he is just someone i dont really ever see coming back to wrestling. Also they wont drop the pg thing compeltly they will push it as far as they can go but keep it pg because they are trying to get into the china market. It would be awesome if they could bring back haas and benjamin then have them and the KOW help rebuild the tag team division.

  • Bawb

How about Kevin Nash? Remember him? The guy who got the loudest pop during the Royal Rumble who DOESN’T EVEN WORK THERE ANYMORE.

  • Greatness

  • Bill

I really want to see DDP come back to WWE in some sort of way, in-ring or not. If you ask me, he was the heart or WCW. As for the ones mentioned, I’m happy to see them too, especially Jericho.

  • josh

get rid of the the pg era and Supercena and you’ll bring back the older fans. Probably cheaper then hiring back old people

  • Prince

Please bring back Shelton Benjamin. Thank you.

Hmm, Bryan actually made a good point as to why they are called superstars rather then wrestlers… maybe a company fed line, but at least its a fair point…
