Home » WWE News » Update on WWE Wanting Bruno Sammartino for the HOF – Triple H Reportedly Reaches Out

- It was reported on Monday by the Wrestling Observer that WWE officials reached out to Bruno Sammartino about being inducted into the 2013 Hall of Fame. Bruno issued a statement online Monday night that said he would not be entering the Hall.

In an update, the Observer reports that Triple H actually called Bruno and tried to sell him on the induction and the fact that he would get one more huge pop. Triple H tried to tell Bruno not to worry about Vince McMahon but Bruno wasn’t having it.

Not many other details are known but word is that Bruno was not impressed with Triple H’s approach.

needs change and a good businessman will try to hit each need where it can. Ryberg is to appeal to people who would fall for brawk or goldberg and Sin Cara is for lucha-lovers to have someone besides rey mysterio.

WWE doesn’t need another tripple h, randy orton, john cena or shawn michaels figure. it needs another Undertaker – Undertaker throughout his career has in my opinion had a bigger and better career than hogan, with just as many if not more angles just as big as hogan and flairs.

@SYM that was just a report I prefer to believe in cold hard facts!

  • SYM

@scooter did u not hear about how Triple H now wants Athletes and Muscle Men not use to the sport? He signed those guys last year. Things change in a Year.

Hunter seems to be more a pro wrestling guy than a sports entertainment guy you can tell by the fact that he’s signing more wrestlers than body builders.(sin cara, Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli, britani knight) Now this looks like an act to respect the heritage of the business.

Just wait until Bruno passes on. Too much of a hassle with him.

Hope Triple H learns from Vinces past, and is more professional on how he treats his employees.
