I can only see Cena, or at a stretch Jericho winning the WWE title MITB. Jericho to actually give him a PPV win since his return, and to have him disappear with his band and return completely unannounced and cash in. But I think Cena will win, as if the WWE play it right it could work well. Either he takes advantage of a worn out or injured champion, a heel-like act, similar to the start of Punk turning heel against Jeff Hardy. Or if he announces when he will cash in, and then lose, becoming the first to fail to win the title with the MITB contract so as to prevent an up and comer from ending up with that damaging tag.

The outcome of the WWE Championship MITB is going to have something to do with the outcome of Punk vs Bryan. Jericho vs Bryan would be good. I know there was a huge rumor of Punk vs Big show at Summer Slam a few weeks ago. I personally do not think Cena needs to be champion again, he’s above it in terms of hype and popularity with fans. About all they can do with Cena is make him heel and his entire career would plateau.

Interested to see who else is going to make into the MITB ladder matches. WWE has gotten really close to putting the title on Bryan I wonder if it will stick this time.
