Yesterday, SmackDown Live General Manager Paige revealed that Shinsuke Nakamura would defend the United States Championship against Tye Dillinger on the Blue Brand’s go home show before WWE Crown Jewel. Now, it seems that the match has been scrapped.

The WWE revealed today that, due to a hand injury, Dillinger would be unable to compete tonight. Tye Dillinger and the King of Strong Style have been at each other’s throats over the past few months on Twitter, and it seemed that the Perfect 10 would finally get a chance to take out his aggression on Nakamura.
However, it seems we’ll have to hold off on this title match until another day.
