USA Hypes WWE Post-Mania, Arquette Comments on WCW, NXT Times, More

– The clip from WWE Tough Enough where Steve Austin told the “bottom three” about wrestling Yokozuna and going to the bathroom on himself was featured on E’s The Soup blog yesterday.

 


 

– David Arquette said the following about his time in WCW in a new interview with IGN to promote Scream 4:

“It was surreal. To be able to be a part of that world and be a fly on the wall and see the workings of the circus, it was a dream come true. I know people joke about the guy from Hollywood winning the title, but I have nothing but respect for wrestlers. I got a chance to live in their world. It was an opportunity be play cops and robbers as grownups.”

– Stan sent word that this week’s episode of WWE NXT had 10 minutes and 40 seconds of in-ring action, up from last week’s 6 minutes and 24 seconds.

– The USA Network issued a press release yesterday hyping that WWE had 12 million unique viewers for their four-hour block of programming on Monday night that included the Hall of Fame, RAW and Tough Enough. This year’s Hall of Fame broadcast was the most-watched ever.
