Ricochet’s first official feud is against one of NXT’s brightest young talents, Velveteen Dream. Both of these men have earned high praise from fans and wrestlers alike, with Ricochet being considered the greatest high flyer today, and Velveteen Dream earning the title of “The One” by John Cena himself.
Dream and Ricochet are set to steal the show at NXT TakeOver: Chicago in a few weeks. The two men have been going back and forth since meeting each other at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans, where they competed in a six-man ladder match for the new NXT North American Championship.
Since then, Dream has done his best to outshine NXT’s latest acquisition, though he hasn’t exactly been successful.

In Dream’s latest attempt to get into his opponent’s head, he said that he could do anything that Ricochet could. Ricochet responded with a leap over the ropes that left everyone’s jaw on the floor, including the Vainglorious One.
Dream still continues to play mind games with The One and Only, taking to Twitter to talk about #IndyPay.
