The 2018 edition of Survivor Series was hosted by Staples Center in Los Angeles. With less than a day of the culmination of the event, the WWE have announced the details for next year’s event.
WWE made an announcement through The Chicago Tribune that Chicago, Illinois will host Survivor Series next year. 2019 marks the 30th anniversary that the event took place at the city of Chicago.
WWE Executive VP of Special Events John Saboor commented on the announcement by stating:
“Allstate Arena, going back to when it was known as Rosemont Horizon, has been such an important partner of WWE, dating back to the ’80s.”
This would mark the first time that SmackDown would take place in the Allstate Arena with the show slated to switch to Friday Nights after their planned switch to FOX next year.
