In the above video, former WWE Superstar CM Punk let WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee pour a bucket of ice water on his head for The Ice Bucket Challenge. The Ice Bucket Challenge is to help spread awareness in fighting ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig’s disease) a disease of the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement.
The Ice Bucket Challenge has gone viral as various celebrities have been posting videos of themselves pouring ice water on their heads to raise awareness about ALS. Punk wrote:

Punk was criticized for lending support to the cause. He wrote:
“Blocking people who feel the need to s–t on raising ALS awareness. What is wrong with you? Ice bucket on the way. Who should I challenge?”
