Video: Seth Rollins Gets Standing Ovation after Clash Of Champions

Following his main event loss to Kevin Owens in their Universal Title Match at last night’s Clash Of Champions pay-per-view (PPV), the Indianapolis crowd gave Seth Rollins a standing ovation for his outstanding performance in the match. You can check out the video here:

Between his charisma, his attitude, his in ring ability, mic skills, and coming back from that injury how could you not cheer for Seth? I used to despise him when he was Champ but he won me over since he has returned.

Fans have wanted to cheer Seth Rollins ever since he came back. Much like Austin once he started to get over in later 1996, the fans have made up their own mind. They tried everything under the sun to make Austin the most dastardly heel ever, and it just made people cheer him more. Rollins is following that same track. He doesn’t need to be “turned” face. The fans will give him face pops regardless who he is wrestling.

I would say that the two top talents in the business right now are Seth Rollins and AJ Styles for some of the same reasons and for different reasons as well.

You forgot to mention CM Punk, one of the biggest tweeners from this era. If the guy slows down and tones down his high-risk style, I could see him EASILY getting to that level of success in five or so years.

He “deserved it” though and they’re thankful he didn’t injure their precious Owens

He doesn’t have to be face – at this point, he’s over enough to be that “tweener”, a la Stone Cold, HHH, Undertaker, etc. I’m not saying he’s BIG like they are, but he’s over enough to basically do no wrong.

    Turn him face.
