Video of Shane McMahon being rescued after the emergency landing of his helicopter

We noted before how the helicopter of SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon had to make an emergency landing in water due to some alleged technical issues recently.

Though thankfully both the pilot of helicopter and Shane were unharmed in the accident and they were rescued shortly after the landing by a team of The New York Police Department.

Now NYPD has released a video of the rescue operation. In the video, as seen below you can see Shane’s helicopter in the water and how he was rescued by the officers:

According to reports, the pilot had made an emergency Mayday call before landing in water. The call was heard by a commercial flight heading to John F. Kennedy International Airport who reported it to FAA and ensured the rescue operation.

As we reported previously, Shane McMahon is safe and sound and according to official WWE statement released after the incident, he’ll be present for the SmackDown Exclusive PPV Battleground this Sunday.
