Vince and Linda McMahon Settling $1 Million In Debts, Scotty 2 Hotty On Facebook

– Linda McMahon announced Thursday night that she and her husband Vince would pay back, with interest, creditors listed on their bankruptcy filing in 1976. According to, the debt totals more than $1 million to 26 creditors. Her announcement came two days after Connecticut publication The Day found bankruptcy records outlining the McMahons’ debts at a National Archives facility in Massachusetts. Linda previously said she couldn’t locate the documents.

Linda’s Senate opponent, Democratic Rep. Chris Murphy, was not impressed with her gesture. “Even after this stunning and desperate late-night reversal by Linda McMahon, questions still remain,” Murphy spokesman Eli Zupnick said. “Voters deserve to know who she still owes, how she plans to pay them back, how much, and why she only now decided to make right on her debts.”

An article on the matter is available here.

– Former WWE Superstar Scotty 2 Hotty is now on Facebook. Now 42, he continues to compete independently after leaving WWE in 2007.

I hope she gets in office, basically so she’s achieved her goal and when someone else gets voted in eventually WWE can become somewhat controversial television again.

yeah wwe should focus on putting out great wrestling matches. great feuds, great ppv’s. wwe product. the in ring product is really bad at this moment. when linda loses in november. As she did 2 yrs ago in 2010. wwe should just hired her back as ceo. get back to working on tag teams and divas. making wwe great product again. i would rather watch one of my old wwe 2000-2007 ppv on dvd. then watch current product. talent pool is not as great as it was 10 yrs ago. I hate to agree with russo. but i do. it is 50 percent writing. other 50 percent is boys in back. going through the motions.

Please let that man beat Linda in the election. Not only do we NOT need another Republican in office….WWE as we know it would be screwed!

“And I’m also not a fan of the product they put out. That’s MY opinion, and my right as a long-time fan”

Because them two statements really go together.

No, I’m totally supportive for the McMahons when they do GOOD things for the fans, for make a wish kids, shit like that. I’m AGAINST them when they let their true colors (filthy-rich, “don’t wanna pay taxes” Republicans”) bleed through. And I’m also not a fan of the product they put out. That’s MY opinion, and my right as a long-time fan who has been to MANY live shows (including a PPV), bought plenty of merchandise, t-shirts, DVDs, ordered PLENTY of PPVs (a great many of which I wish I could have my money back on).

In other words, I’ve personally helped line the pockets of Vince and Linda McMahon over the last couple decades of my life, so I have every right to say whatever the hell I want, thanks.

Devil_rising is right, if Linda wasn’t in politics and her opponent didn’t bring the fact that she owes people money, the debt would still be there. Its not like the debt was from the early 2000s or something more recent, it was from decades ago. There clearly was no concern about it until it was used against her in a negative way.

I really like coming to this site but I think its redicious how people on here just attack each other because of their opinion.

Devil_rising you’re against The McMahons in every single way so even if they did something right you’d bitch.

  • Devil_Rising

Not that I need to point this out, but they’re paying these debts NOW (chump change to them), not out of a sudden stroke of conscience, or out of the goodness of their hearts. But purely in reaction to her political opponents’ using that debt as a weapon against her. It’s a PR stunt for a political campaign. If they had REALLY cared about the debt before now, they would have paid it before now.

Which is yet another reason Linda should have just stayed OUT of politics.
