Vince Russo Trashes Vince McMahon’s Creative Ability

In a recent interview on WZ Daily, former Head Writer for WWE Vince Russo discussed how he has “no confidence whatsoever in the creative of one Vincent Kennedy McMahon”:

‘Let me say this, first of all, I like the three guys up top right now. I like what they are doing with The SHIELD. I like those three guys up top. I really do. Here is the problem, based on what I have seen in the last two years. I’ve watched RAW every single week for the last two years. I do consider myself an authority on the show. I have no confidence whatsoever in the creative of one Vincent Kennedy McMahon. None. Zero. Over the last few years he’s shown me absolutely nothing. There hasn’t been a “HOLY CRAP!” moment for me in the last two years. I have zero confidence in his booking. I have zero confidence in his creative. I can’t imagine we are going to take a lackluster RAW product and turn it in to two tremendous shows that we are just going to be pulled out of thin air. When, quite frankly, the shows have been absolutely horrible. If they brought in a new team of writers? I mean, ok. I’ll give them a shot. I’ll sit back. I’ll watch what they do. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. If it stays under Vince’s thumb I just don’t see how we are going to go from two years of mediocrity to two can’t miss television shows. I just don’t think that’s possible.’
