Wade Barrett reveals his future in pro wrestling

Stu Bennett, who wrestled in the WWE formerly with his ring name Wade Barrett, was recently interviewed by Mirror Sport to promote the relaunch of ITV’s World Of Sport Wrestling. During the course of the talk, the former WWE Intercontinental Champion happened to reveal his plans for the future. Bennett said:

“I’m on a bit of a career sabbatical at the moment. I wrestled for 14 or 15 years,” said Bennett. “I’ve got a bunch of injuries, I’m tired, I’m getting old, I’m getting some grey hair now. I promise you Morgan that at some point I will be back in the ring and maybe that will take place in WOS. We’ll have to see.”

The former King Of The Ring winner was released from the WWE in 2016 and has gone on to appear for several United Kingdom promotions as a commentator or an authority figure.
