– Rey Mysterio is planning to undergo a lesser surgery on his ACL injury that would allow him to return sooner than a more invasive surgery would. WWE is hoping that Rey will return at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in January.
Originally, officials were worried that he would be out of action for six to nine months but Rey is looking to get back in the ring as soon as possible. He will still need the full surgery later on.
Rey signed copies of his new book for about 500 fans last night in New Jersey and was not selling the injury.
