When Jon Moxley might return to in-ring competition

Jox Moxley, who went under the name Dean Ambrose in WWE, left the company after letting his WWE contract run out which means he doesn’t have a no-compete clause.

It was reported earlier that Moxley is set to star in an upcoming film called Cagefighter. So he will be engaged with that for a while, but that doesn’t mean his pro wrestling days are over.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that Moxley is expected to start taking indie bookings after the movie has finished shooting. Actors are not allowed by some studios to wrestle while they are shooting for a movie in order to avoid the risk of injury. Such is the case for The Rock and John Cena.

However, one can’t count out Moxley from making a surprise appearance at AEW Double Or Nothing. He did hint at an appearance with the “5” and “25” etched on the walls of his prison cell in his return video.

We will keep you updated regarding Jon Moxley’s in-ring status when we learn more.
