We noted before how WWE announced that Rey Mysterio will be returning at SmackDown 1000 and he will face Shinsuke Nakamura at the show.
However, at the time, the company hadn’t confirmed which brand he will work on after this, though now a new press release may have given us an idea about his future.
WWE recently released a press release confirming that Mysterio has signed a full-time contract. While the release didn’t reveal the length of his deal, it has been reported previously that he has signed a 2 years contract.
The statement also mentioned a number of upcoming shows Rey will be a part of and you can check out a list of dates he has been added to below:
- Hartford, Conn. – Oct. 20
- Boston, Mass. – Oct. 21
- White Plains, N.Y. – Oct. 22
- Cardiff, Wales – Nov. 3
- Aberdeen, Scotland – Nov. 4
- Birmingham, England – Nov. 5
What’s interesting to note here is that all these events are either dual branded of SmackDown exclusive show so it looks like he will become a part of the Blue Roster after his return.
