- Dana White said after UFC 101 last night that Anderson Silva’s next opponent will “probably” be Dan Henderson in the middleweight division. Silva has already beaten Henderson back in March of 2008 and didn’t seem all that happy about having to fight Henderson again. Silva has said in the past that he only wants to do “big fights.”
Silva dismissed a potential Lyoto Machida fight as well. “He’s my friend, he’s my brother, and there’s no way that fight happens.”
- At Saturday night’s post-UFC 101 press conference, Dana White confirmed that the company will be running a show in Boston. But White also stated where they are looking to run…
“We’re looking at doing it at Fenway…”
Fenway Park, in its current configuration, holds 37,000 fans for baseball, a number which would change once configured for an MMA event.
