As it’s known now, the current plan for Ronda Rousey is to have her debut at Wrestlemania, teaming with a partner to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. The idea, at this point, is that Rousey will team up with The Rock, the man who she teamed up with for a segment at Wrestlemania 31.
Rousey and The Rock forced Triple H and Stephanie out of the ring, with Rousey teasing an armbar on the Billion Dollar Princess. When she made an appearance at WWE Royal Rumble, Rousey made sure to stare Stephanie down before walking back up the ramp.
However, while Rousey is all but guaranteed to be in the match, who her partner could be is up in the air. The Rock could appear beside his Furious 7 co-star, but he might not be able to perform in-ring due to other priorities. Around May, he’s scheduled to start filming a new Disney movie and might not be allowed to wrestle due to insurance reasons.
The Rock had some serious issues after Wrestlemania 29 where he tore his abdominal and adductor tendons from his pelvis, forcing him to miss some appointments around the time, including the Raw after Mania that year. He also was forced to push production of Hercules(2014) back several weeks.
