Rockstar Spud defeated Marty Scurll and The Blossom Twins to win TNA’s British Boot Camp reality show to earn a TNA contract.
Hulk Hogan and Dixie Carter noted that Spud was selected primarily to fill a void in the roster, a dead ringer for the X-Division.
