- According to fiveouncesofpain.com, five-time Worlds Strongest Man, Mariusz Pudzianowski will be making his MMA debut against fellow MMA rookie Marcin Najman. The two will fight at heavyweight in Warsaw, Poland for KSW 12. Besides his strongman accomplishments, Pudzianowski is a fourth kyu green belt in Kyokushin kaikan Karate and has been training in boxing for 7-years. Ladies and gentleman, that’s a big boy.

- Former World Extreme Cagefighting fighter Cole Escovedo (12-4) is returning to the cage on November 6th for Strikeforce. Escovedo was suffered a severe staph infection that started in his arm, which was misdiagnosed by multiple doctors, and then spread to his spine, causing paralysis below the waist. But after a successful surgery and a few years of rehab, Escovedo returned to action in May, defeating Michael McDonald via second-round TKO at Palace Fighting Championships 13. Escovedo will now fight for Strikeforce on the November 6th Strikeforce Challengers event.
