The ending to the highly anticipated and heavily hyped main event of WrestleMania 35 was unexpected, to say the least. Becky Lynch scored a roll-up victory on Ronda Rousey out of nowhere and it all felt a bit off.
Now, several reports are indicating that the ending to the match was indeed botched. Most prominent of them all comes from Bryan Alvarez of f4wonline.com.
Alvarez took to his Twitter to report that the ending was indeed botched but not as much as other speculations suggested. He said that the only botch, in the end, was that Rousey was supposed to have both her shoulders down during the roll-up pinfall.
The only botch in the main event finish was Ronda's shoulder was supposed to be down. #WrestleMania

Some other reports making rounds on the internet suggest that Lynch wasn’t supposed to win and that the match was supposed to go longer. However, the credibility of such reports is questionable.
