- With Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson securing the lead role for the Brett Ratner-directed action film Hercules, and production kicking off in “early 2013,” it has been speculated that his WWE involvement in the weeks leading up to WrestleMania 29 may be affected. However, the word among WWE circles is that organization officials are not expecting his filming commitments to impact his dates.

- The official website of NXT Wrestling has added Sasha Banks to its Divas roster.

Banks, formerly known as Mercedes KV, is a 20-year-old New England-based women’s wrestler. She recently debuted in WWE’s developmental program after impressing company officials at a talent evaluation session in June—resulting in a contract.

- Bill Apter recently spoke to former WWE Superstar Michael Tarver, who addressed his current endeavors, hopes for the future, time with the Nexus, and more.

Did they really think the Rock was going to commit 100% to the WWE that’s fine that they want to have him around and do stuff but to put the belt on him when he’s going to be away is just stupid @Men on a Mission the Rock is not going to turn down a movie like this i doubt WWE pays more than that

  • Men on a Mission

Here’s an idea, turn down a movie! Who says you have to do every movie that comes along? Make a commitment to WWE for a few months, I’m sure you are getting paid well.

i just hope that if The Rock wins the WWE title, he doesnt leave and not defend it… that would be crap!!!, why put your focus in someone thats not even gonna be there???, if he decides to return for a few months than am ok with it, other wise, dont even bother focusing on the Rock!!!.
