WWE bans four items from Wrestlemania 34

For a few years, now, it’s been popular among some fans to bring beach balls into an arena and throw them around during a match they may not be interested in. Wrestlers and fans alike have been very outspoken on this trend, with several stars running out into a crowd to destroy them.

WWE Raw Tag Team Champion Cesaro did just that at Summerslam when their title bout with the Shield was interrupted by fans tossing a beach ball around. The Swiss Cyborg was interviewed about the incident on All Things Wrestling Radio, where he said he felt disrespected by it.

The fans say ‘Cesaro is underappreciated,’ and you have a hell of a match and they do something like that. So that’s just disrespectful and I put a stop to that. Not on my watch.

Well, it seems like the WWE is trying to put a stop to it completely come Wrestlemania time. According to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has banned four items for the week.

  • Balloons
  • Beach Balls
  • Ipads
  • Tablets

A report was released earlier this week that stated blood and piledrivers were banned during Wrestlemania week as well, stating any shows taking place during the week in Louisiana must abide by these rules, not just WWE events.
