WWE Bragging Rights Returning, Preview for Hacksaw Jim Duggan’s New Book

– WWE Hall of Famer Hacksaw Jim Duggan will release his “Hacksaw: The Jim Duggan Story” book on April 1st, 2012. Here is the synopsis from Amazon:

“Offering professional wrestling fans a ringside seat into his adventurous life, WWE Hall of Fame wrestler Jim Duggan recounts for the first time key moments and legendary bouts both inside and outside the ring. Known to millions of enthusiasts as a charismatic patriot—with an American flag in his right hand and his signature two-by-four in his left—Duggan here reflects on his early life as a student-athlete on the Southern Methodist University football squad. Drafted by the Atlanta Falcons, Duggan shares how an injury-plagued rookie season curtailed his football ambitions and paved the way for a brighter career in professional wrestling. Rising to fame in the Cold War–era 1980s, Duggan immediately put himself at odds with anti-American “heels” and engaged in legendary feuds with some of the most legendary names in the sport, including the Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, and Andre the Giant. In this who’s who of top-tier wrestling, Duggan reveals not only the high points of championship bouts but also the low points that occurred far away from the TV cameras and screaming fans, including his fight against kidney cancer during the prime of his career. With each page peppered with Duggan’s charming wit, fans will find much to enjoy and discover about the man they once knew only as “Hacksaw.””

– WWE will be doing away with the Capitol Punishment pay-per-view in 2012 and replacing it with the returning Bragging Rights pay-per-view, which didn’t take place in 2011. Bragging Rights is scheduled for June 17th, 2012 and is set to air on the WWE Network.

    Bring back World War 3!

  • LSC

King of the Ring PPV should have been brought back. KOTR makes legends

  • venom

I wish they would change the hell in a cell ppv back to Bad blood.

  • 3117

bragging rights should be an pay per view with the same concept as king of the ring, where the winner of the tournament has bragging rights over both brands. also have each champion vs. champion match

  • Bill

Me personally, I’m a sucker for brand warfare, & love Smackdown vs. Raw tag matches. But those should be at SURVIVOR SERIES! What about Unforgiven? I really liked that PPV.

  • Whooper

Everyone competes on RAW anyways so I don’t see whats the point

  • jcorona

    Bring back december to dismember!!!

  • Zane

No point in having either one of them if they’re not even worth watching.

  • No1Coleminer

exactly!! because KOTR building a top feud(s) en-route to Summerslam, astleast the guaranteed shot is a crazy unbookable idea. wwe knows fans want either two forgettable events to replace KOTR… hmmmm

  • Mark

they can keep changing the names of the PPV’s as long as they like. Its the quality of the matches and the storylines that the paying customer tune in to see. It isnt what it use to be lets face it .
