It appears WWE is in the process of bringing back former SmackDown Superstar Serena Deeb, best known for being a former member of CM Punk’s Straight Edge Society.
Pwinsider is reporting that Officials have shown interested in bringing the former WWE Star back to the company. The site further notes that Deeb was in Pittsburgh, PA yesterday, apparently for her pre-signing medical testing.
Serena started her wrestling career back in 2005 when she started training in Ohio Valley Wrestling and made her debut for the territory on the same year.
She joined WWE back in May 2009. She became a member of the Straight Edge Society in January 2010. Though the former WWE Star was released from the company in August for not ‘living out’ her Straight Edge personality in public.
No word yet on when she may make her return to the company if she passes the test but the upcoming women’s Royal Rumble match looks to be the perfect destination for her comeback.
